I did this drawing last night. It's 5"x7" and I wouldn't call it a success. I'm still learning about what color values and shapes work within this template and deciding what I can part with as I make a necessary transition. The unconstricted mass of dots seems to work well but needs to be done with a darker ink providing more contrast with the paper. I always want to work with bright colors, but they always end up looking murky and washed out. It's disappointing. I can't wait to work on something large scale again.
